KCAIA

The basic terms for using the KCAIA website and engaging with our public materials.

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Website use

This website provides general information about KCAIA membership, training, events, and services. It is not legal, financial, security, or compliance advice. The content is for general informational purposes and does not create a professional-client relationship. Always consult qualified professionals for advice specific to your situation. KCAIA makes reasonable efforts to keep information current but does not guarantee that all materials are up to date at the moment you view them.

No guaranteed outcomes

AI strategy, development, and training outcomes depend on the organization, use case, data, tooling, and adoption discipline. We do not guarantee specific commercial results from website content alone. Every organization has different starting conditions — maturity level, data quality, team readiness, budget constraints — and these factors materially affect what any AI initiative can deliver. Our consulting engagements include project-specific scoping to set realistic expectations, but this website is not a substitute for that process. What worked for one client may not work for another.

Membership and services

Membership, event access, training, and services may be subject to separate written terms, invoices, proposals, or agreements. The terms on this page cover general website use. If you become a member, register for an event, or engage KCAIA for consulting, you will receive or have access to specific agreements governing those relationships. In the event of a conflict between these general terms and a specific agreement, the specific agreement controls.

Intellectual property

Website copy, design, and KCAIA materials belong to KCAIA or their respective owners. Do not reuse them as if they are yours. You may reference, share, or link to KCAIA content for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. Republishing, reselling, or using our materials to create competing offerings requires prior written permission. Everything we publish publicly is intended to help Kansas City organizations adopt AI responsibly — please share the ideas, just don't take the credit.

Third-party services

The site may use third-party services for forms, analytics, email, images, or hosting. Those services have their own terms and policies. KCAIA does not control and is not responsible for the practices of these third parties. We choose providers we believe respect user privacy and data security, but your interaction with any third-party service is governed by their terms, not ours. We encourage you to review their policies before engaging with their services through our site.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent to hello@kcaia.org. We will respond as soon as we are able. If you need to reference a specific page or service in your inquiry, including that context helps us route your question to the right person faster.
